Snow Trainers 100% Successful at Cert 1 Exams Mon, 30 January 2012
100% pass rate on the USA Level 1 exams - well done guys!!!
Congratulations to the USA 2012 Snow Trainers - the entire crew of snowboarders and skiers passed their Cert 1 exams at Breckenridge and Copper Mountain this week. This adds further testament to the quality training and preparation provided to Snow Trainers participants. Game on for Cert 2. Go Snow Trainers!

The ski and snowboard groups are busy preparing for the PSIA-AASI Cert 1 exams next week at Breckenridge (ski group) and Copper Mountain (snowboard group). Each student is working on individual skiing and riding skills, teaching skills, and movement analysis skills in preparation for the upcoming exams. Go Snow Trainers!

Snow Trainers NZ crew now working at Copper Mountain, Colorado
Snow Trainers prepares and trains their students extremely well, and the New Zealand crew from the 2011 season at Coronet Peak were very successful in passing their NZSIA-SBINZ exams. Snow Trainers helped this crew find jobs all over the world and four of them chose to work at Copper Mountain, Colorado as ski and snowboard instructors. Congratulations team Snow Trainers!

The 2012 Snow Trainers crew at Copper!
It was a beautiful January day to start training with the ski and snowboard groups at Copper Mountain. Snow Trainers have the advantage of living and training together over a significant period of time where the students can learn from their coaches and from each other. The training is done in a manner that leads from one step to the next for three to four days in a row over several weeks or months. This gives the students time to practice the skills on their "days off" and also read the training materials and prepare their study guides for the PSIA-AASI exam process. Welcome to training!

Welcome Night Dinner
Students have arrived from all over the world for the 2012 Snow Trainers Ski and Snowboard courses at Copper Mountain, Colorado! We held a group meeting for all the students on January 3rd where everyone got a chance to meet each other and find out what they had signed themselves up for! We discussed the course content and answered questions from the participants - and followed this up with a pizza party and a few drinks at a local restaurant. Welcome Snow Trainers!
