Powder day in the Steamboat Back-country!!

Steamboat Powder Cats
There hasn't been a lot of powder this Spring in Colorado but the Snow Trainers crew needed their fix - so we all headed off to Steamboat Springs. Just an hour or so from Copper we met up with Steamboat Powder Cats and explored the local back-country in their luxury cats.
It was another awesome Spring day and the sun was shining, and the guides knew where to find the untouched powder. We had about 15 runs in some amazing terrain with lots of rock-drops, jumps and open powder fields to shred.
No hiking for us, every time we got to the bottom of the run a cat was waiting. On the drive up we had complimentary drinks and snacks, and rocked out to cool beats on the sweet sound system in the cat. At lunch time they drove us to a cabin in the woods where a three course meal was waiting for us, we couldn't ask for a better day!
