Train to become a FULLY CERTIFIED ski instructor
If you want to further your skills as a ski instructor and move up from your Level 2 qualification to become fully certified then this is the course for you. Spend 12 weeks at a Colorado ski train academy in the USA and train towards being internationally recognized as a FULLY CERTIFIED ski instructor – and do it while skiing Colorado’s famous deep dry powder! Unique to Snow Trainers is the opportunity to shadow our Level 1 and 2 instructor training. You will gain valuable, first-hand experience of how to train high level students which will be a huge benefit when it comes to exam time. Plus, if you are a USA citizen or have a work visa you may also be able to work for the Copper Ski and Ride School. If you are able to follow this path, you can leave with more qualifications, experience, a reference from one of the best schools in the country, and hopefully some money in your pocket too!! You will also have access to the employee cafeteria to buy discounted lunches making you feel like part of the team at Copper.
An amazing winter experience
Our goal is to make sure you have a fun, rewarding, and memorable experience while at our Colorado ski train academy. We chose Copper Mountain for our USA course because it has an average snowfall of 282 in / 710 cm, 22 lifts and 2,450 acres/985 hectares of terrain to play on you are sure to have an amazing time. Right by Copper is Woodward, a one-of-a-kind indoor freestyle training facility. You will have the option of an add-on pass so you can practice your moves on a trampoline into the foam pit before you take it to the park. Once back on the mountain you will find air-bag jumps in the park so you can make sure you have everything 100% finalized before you try it onto a real landing.

Snow Trainers ski coaches are Trainers and Examiners for the PSIA-RM. We know our students want to be trained by the actual coaches who run the exams. The instructors have years of experience with operating a successful Colorado ski train academy. The instructors work for Copper Mountain Ski & Ride School so they have firsthand experience of what is required in the real world of ski instructing and know what is necessary to pass your exam. Plus another bonus of working with Copper instructors is that you’ll get VIP treatment at the lifts – no long queues for you!
Internationally recognized ski qualification
The Snow Trainers 12 Week Ski Level 3 Instructor course prepares you for the internationally recognized PSIA-RM Level 3 Certification. Once you achieve this qualification you are recognized around the world as being a fully certified ski instructor. Once you have this qualification you can also apply for your ISIA stamp which will open up doors for you all around the globe.
